Cut-Ups Block Coffee Table - Hi-Resolution

This coffee table is made up of several thousand offcuts from the Brothers Dressler studio arranged in an undulating pixelated detail of maple leaf. The pixels are braced with a solid brass ring and dowels holding up a glass top. The table delicately stands on repurposed tube chair legs with hand milled brass feet.

Designed 2014

Various salvaged woods from the workshop of the Brothers Dressler, an historic mixture that spans years and even centuries. The trimmed ends of solid wood tables, staves of a 16 foot diameter barrel, portions of an old Toronto school, shipping pallets, submerged beams and off cuts from countless other furniture pieces come together in their true colours to begin another chapter of their story. Repurposed tube chair legs, brass and glass.
