Heartfelt Cage Credenza
An exploration in the use of industrial conveyor apron, reclaimed from a defunct felt factory, in creating flexible seating. This bench, originally designed and produced
in 2004 was the inspiration for a credenza which was one of five pieces commissioned
for the renovation of Canada House in London, England in 2014.
The slats that encase this cabinet are bolted into solid wood ribs that form the frame. Available with or without a glass top for a flat surface. This three door cabinet is available in natural white oak, blackened white oak, or white-washed oak with a natural white oak interior. Slats are typically made from various reclaimed sources including water salvaged wood with the natural mineral deposit, church pews or city salvaged wood. Custom sizes available.
