Display design for Carla Zaccagnini’s
“no. it is opposition” exhibition

In the summer of 2008 we were commissioned to design the display system for Brazilian artist Carla Zaccagnini’s “no. it is opposition” exhibition. Using discarded materials collected from across the city of Toronto we sought to create a system that parallels the artist’s work Sobre la igualdad y las diferencias II: a casa ao lado (On equality and difference II: the house next door) which includes rescued objects from two houses destined for destruction in Belgium.

The exhibition ran September - December 2008
