Radiant Table

With selective cutting and the addition of appropriate hardware, discarded cast iron radiators form the legs for tables and desks. Unique radiators from the turn of the century show symbols and decorations of traditional workmanship; we are also remodelling them as dividers and support for shelving and benches.

We created a desk version for our booth at Studio North IDS 14. The top of the desk is made from beautiful Toronto ash wood. The drawer in this model has been salvaged from a discarded desk.
